The DryMark Restoration Long Island City Guarantee
We’re Alicia Brennan and the team at DryMark Restoration Long Island City, and we’ve restored more than 12,000 homes since 2011. Every single one of those jobs started with a written price and ended with a documented record. That’s not a marketing story. That’s the Haven Standard, and it’s how we work in Long Island City because it’s how we work everywhere. When water is moving through your drywall at 2 a.m. or mold is spreading behind your kitchen cabinets in a Hunters Point brownstone, you need to know exactly what you’re paying for and exactly who’s accountable if something isn’t right. We are. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if it’s not done right, we make it right. Signed, not said.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every repair. Our crews are background-checked, uniformed, and licensed, and their work is documented to IICRC, RIA, and IFA standards. If a seam lifts, a seal fails, or a moisture reading comes back above dry standard within a year, we return and fix it at our expense.
- Parts and material handling. We use professional-grade drying systems from Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, and Injectidry. Every piece of equipment deployed on your Long Island City property is logged, and any part we install is covered for function for the full 365-day term.
- Site protection and cleanup. We leave containment barriers up until passing clearance, HEPA-vacuum all work zones, and dispose of contaminated materials per New York City DEP guidelines. If we track debris into your hallway or leave a screw behind a baseboard, we’ll hear about it and we’ll handle it.
- On-time emergency response. A live person answers every call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No voicemail trees, no next-business-day callbacks while water is still wicking up your studs. Our dispatch records every call timestamp, and our crew arrival is photo-documented on site.
- Honest, locked pricing. Haven Standard, Clause 1: written price before work begins, every time, with no exceptions. Once that scope is signed, the number doesn’t move. No scope-creep additions once the crew is inside your Long Island City home. That’s the founding promise of this company, built by a former claims adjuster who watched too many homeowners lose their claims to documentation gaps.
Our Satisfaction Promise

If you’re not satisfied, we don’t debate it. We fix it.
Here’s how that works in practice. You call (914) 530-9723 or email us with the issue. We pull your job file, which includes the photo record from every visit, the daily moisture logs, the written scope you signed, and the psychrometric data that shows exactly where your property stood at each phase of drying. Alicia Brennan reviews it personally. If we missed dry standard, if a finish doesn’t match, if a vapor barrier was skipped in a hard-to-reach corner of your Long Island City basement, we schedule return work and we cover the labor.
The 365-Day Done Right Promise is a written warranty under the Haven Standard, not a verbal assurance you hope someone remembers. It’s stamped on every job. We’ve honored it on jobs where the issue was ours, and we’ve honored it on jobs where the issue was borderline and we could have pushed back. We didn’t. The Haven Standard exists precisely so there’s no argument about who’s responsible when something’s not right. We are.
And if you received a written estimate from another restoration company in Long Island City and you want a second opinion before you sign, bring it to us. We’ll review it at no charge. That’s Haven Standard policy, not a promotion.

AfterLicensed & Insured Backing
Licensing and insurance aren’t decorations on a truck door. They’re the mechanism that makes a guarantee collectible.
DryMark Restoration Long Island City is state-licensed and insured. That means our work carries coverage that extends past the job site, and our technicians arrive with verifiable credentials, not just a uniform. When we document your loss for insurance, we’re producing the photo record, the drying log, the written scope, and the moisture readings that turn restoration invoices into payable claims. That’s the documentation gap this company was founded to close.
We’ve worked with adjusters on Long Island City jobs where the difference between a covered loss and a denied claim came down to whether someone took a photo of the vapor pressure differential reading at 48 hours. We take that photo. We log that reading. We explain what psychrometric data means in plain language on the same page where we cite it. And we keep those records for the full warranty term, so if a question comes up six months later, we have the answer.
The real guarantee behind your Long Island City restoration job isn’t a piece of paper. It’s a system built by someone who used to deny claims for a living and decided to build something better. That’s the Haven Standard. That’s what we stand behind.
Common Questions About Our Guarantee

What if I find a problem after the crew leaves?
Call (914) 530-9723 any time within 365 days. We pull your file, review the documentation, and schedule correction work if the issue falls under our workmanship coverage. The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to every job we complete in Long Island City.
Does the guarantee cover mold coming back after remediation?
Our mold remediation guarantee covers the work we performed: containment, removal, HEPA filtration, and clearance testing. If mold returns because of an underlying moisture source we didn’t address (a hidden leak, for example), we’ll identify it, document it, and quote separate repair work. We don’t promise against future water intrusion we didn’t cause. We do promise our remediation was complete and documented.
Will you work with my insurance company on a guarantee claim?
Yes. We coordinate directly with adjusters on every job, and that includes guarantee-related return visits. Your photo record, drying log, and written scope are formatted for insurance review. We’ve found that documented moisture data resolves most coverage questions before they become disputes.
What does “written price before work begins” actually mean?
Haven Standard, Clause 1 means you receive a detailed scope with line-item pricing, you review and sign it, and only then does work start. If we find additional damage during the job, we stop, document it, write a supplemental scope, and get your signature before continuing. The original signed price is locked. The supplemental scope is a separate, also-locked agreement. No surprises.
How do I get a free second opinion on another company’s estimate?
Bring us any competitor’s written estimate for water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire damage repair, or reconstruction in Long Island City. We’ll review the scope, the pricing, and the proposed methodology at no charge. We’re not looking to undercut; we’re looking to make sure you understand what you’re actually buying. Some estimates skip steps that matter. Some include steps you don’t need. We’ll tell you which is which.
